Former 3 Doors Down Guitarist Dies?


(UI) Matt Roberts, 38 was in Westbend,m WI preparing to do a charity concert for veterans when he died Saturday. He and his father had adjoining rooms in the local Hampton Inn. He was found dead in the hallway Saturday morning by other guest at the hotel. In 2012 Roberts left 3 Doors Down citing health reasons. He was a founding member along with Brad Arnold and Todd Harrell. The band originated in Escatawpa, Mississippi.

Matt Roberts took part in the creation of some of today's most well-known hits such as "Here Without You" which has over 253 Million hits. Roberts was among some of the greatest artist in modern music. His contributions to 3 Doors Down will live on for years to come. It is still unclear what contributed to Roberts death, but it is suspected that anxiety and prescription drugs may be involved. The Guitarist had struggled for many years with both anxiety and depression.

The police have found no cause of death but stated Saturday that no blunt trauma had occurred. We are awaiting the autopsy to see what lead to the singers death.
