Scott Weiland died at 48.

Front man for the Stone Temple Pilots Scott Weiland died yesterday at 48. The singer was found unresponsive on his tour buss. His manager, Tom Vitorino, confirmed the death. A statement posted to Scott Weiland’s Facebook and Instagram pages said he died in his sleep while on a tour stop with his  band, Scott Weiland & the Wildabouts.

Scott had been a founding member of the 90's band the Stone Temple Pilots as well as a member of Velvet Revolver. Weiland had traveled and made billboard hits for years. Although he always struggled with addiction, he will be remembered forever as a legend to the rock industry. As of yesterday there were no conclusion for the cause of death, but we do know there were small amounts of cocaine found in his room on the tour bus.

Weiland was on tour and died in Minnesota while at a tour stop. We wish well to his family, and friends.
