September 21st, 2015 – Los Angeles, CA – New England post-hardcore outfit VANNA will release a new covers EP called ALT on October 2nd on Pure Noise Records. Today, the band has partnered with AltPress.com to unveil their new cover of The Smashing Pumpkins’ classic song “Zero” from the “Dawn to Dusk” side of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. "If you were to find my class picture from high school, you'd catch me in the middle of the crowd on the bleachers sporting a "Zero" t-shirt and bleach blonde hair,” says Vanna’s singer Davey Muise. “Billy's strange and desperate lyrics, mixed with some of best riffs ever, made for one angsty kid feeling someone understood his problems. I still lose myself to this track."
Vanna’s upcoming ALT EP pays tribute to the bands that helped shape their sound and includes cover versions of songs from Marilyn Manson, The Offspring, The Smashing Pumpkins, Korn and Metallica. The band will be performing songs from the record on their upcoming fall tour. Dates are listed below.
