“”Everyday” is about the bittersweet, agonizing side of new love and longing,” Koji tells AmericanSongwriter.com. “It went from a song written on my dad's old classical guitar to the driving, fuzzed out, Superchunk-y rock arrangement seconds after I got in a room to jam with my guitarist, Chris Sigda, and drummer, Willie Rose. Chris and Willie played on my first EP Some Small Way which we recorded in 2009 and it was amazing to see that the chemistry was still there after so many years.”

Koji’s latest song arrives on the heels of his debut title track, “Fury,” which helped spark online excitement from his fans and critics for the upcoming EP. Koji will take his new record on tour later this month for dates with Petal, which will lead into a summer-long run with the Vans Warped Tour.
