“With "What's Good For The King" I really just wanted to tell a complete story,” says vocalist Brooks Paschal.  “I didn't get caught up in structure or song formulas, it was just supposed to be "A moment in the life of" kinda piece.  As I got more into the telling of the story, I really figured out how the music could add to the real dramatics of the song.  I wanted there to be a real moment of death, but I wanted the listener to have the breath to figure that out for themselves.”

After seven years away, Sullivan makes their long awaited return this fall with a massive new record that will undoubtedly re-establish the band as one of alternative rock’s most inspired and kinetic bands. Their new record, Heavy Is The Head, features 11 tracks that showcase the band’s refined songwriting, unique complexity and revitalized energy, as heard on the newly released anthemic song “What’s Good For The King.”

Sullivan will be performing a special reunion show in their hometown of Greensboro, NC at The Blind Tiger on November 1st. Tickets are available now at http://bit.ly/1v8BXB7.
